Oryx International Growth Fund Limited ('Oryx') has today acquired one ordinary
share in American Opportunity Trust PLC ('AOT').  This will mean that Oryx will
be a member of AOT on the effective date of the scheme of arrangement and
accordingly there will be no requirement under Section 103 of the Companies Act
1985 for an independent valuation of the ordinary shares in AOT to be allotted
to Oryx pursuant to the scheme of arrangement.
