OVOCA RESOURCES Plc
Ovoca Resources Plc (ovg.i Dublin, ovg.l London) is pleased to announce that it
has appointed Davy as its new sponsors for 2004.
Davy is Ireland's leading broker and securities trading house, employing over
370 people to provide a full spectrum of stockbroking and corporate finance
services.
Davy handles around 50% of day to day trading in Irish equities and acts as
broker to over 70% of the Irish corporate market, by market capitalisation. For
the past two years Davy has been responsible for more than 80% of funds raised
on the Irish Stock Exchange.
Richard O'Shea, CEO, on behalf of the board wishes to thank Bloxham Stockbrokers
for all their help in the past. We welcome Davy as our new sponsor at a time
when Ovoca is changing from being solely an Irish Exploration company and
refocusing to become an International Exploration company as we follow up on our
exciting new Gold Exploration programme in Sweden. We feel that the advice and
experience that Davy has to offer will be invaluable as we endeavour to make
Ovoca Resources a leading Mining and Exploration company.
This announcement has been issued through the Companies Announcement Service of
the Irish Stock Exchange.
