Further to the announcement of the completion of the acquisition of Oxxon
Therapeutics Limited ('Oxxon') on 15 March 2007, the Company announces that, of
the 27,551,628 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares')
issued as consideration for the acquisition, 1,737,490 Ordinary Shares, that
were not subject to a lock up, have been placed with existing institutional
investors.

Following this sale, Oxxon Therapeutics Holdings, Inc. (the historic holding
company of Oxxon) is interested in 25,814,138 Ordinary Shares, representing 4.84
per cent. of the Company's issued share capital, all of which are subject to a
lock up agreement for six months from the date of the acquisition, followed by a
period of orderly disposal through Evolution Securities Limited, the Company's
corporate broker.
