The Company was notified on 19 December 2006 by Calyon Corporate and Investment
Bank that following recent purchases, on 18 December 2006 Credit Agricole
Cheuvreux International Limited had an interest in 40,932,178 Oxford BioMedica
plc 1p ordinary shares. This represents 8.16 per cent of the presently issued
share capital of the Company, which stands at 501,353,644 1p ordinary shares.

The shares are registered as follows:
