Oxford Instruments plc 1999/2000 Interim Results

The Directors of Oxford Instruments plc will be meeting on Tuesday 23 November
1999 to approve the accounts for the half year to 30 September 1999 for
publication and to agree the Interim Dividend for the year to 31 March 2000.

The Dividend will be payable on 29 March 2000 to members on the register at
the close of business on 25 February 2000 (the record date).

The announcement of the company's Interim Results will be released to the
Stock Exchange on Tuesday 23 November 1999.
