OXFORD INSTRUMENTS PLC - SHAREHOLDING NOTIFICATION

 
The Company has been notified today that in accordance with sections 198 -
202 of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended by the Companies Act 1989 and the
Disclosure of Interests in Shares (Amendment) Regulation 1993) 3i Group plc
has ceased to have a notifiable interest in the Ordinary Shares of £0.05p
each in the share capital of Oxford Instruments plc.
