Appointment of Finance Director
The Board of Directors (the 'Board') of OMG plc, the technology group providing image understanding products for the entertainment, defence, life science and engineering industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Deacon as Finance Director and member of the Board with immediate effect.
Prior to joining OMG, David Deacon held the position of Chief Financial Officer of Mediasurface plc from September 2002. At Mediasurface, David was instrumental in the successful turnaround of the business, taking the company from a position of substantial annual losses into profitability in 2006. During this time he managed a number of successful acquisitions, and multiple fund raisings. Before Mediasurface, David held senior finance positions at a number of companies including RL Polk & Co (as International CFO), Wonderware Solutions (as EMEA Finance Director) and Kalamazoo Computer Group plc (as Group Supply Chain Director, inter alia).
