OMG plc ('the Company') AGM Statement - Positive Trading Update

At today's annual general meeting of the Company, the Chairman will make the
following statement:

'We are pleased to announce that, despite continuing global economic
uncertainty, sales of motion capture systems to engineering, medical and
entertainment markets have stabilised and in several geographic areas, notably
the United States and Japan, are showing signs of resumed growth.

'Improved revenues, together with the steps taken last year to reduce costs,
indicate a return to profitability in the first half of the current year to 31
March 2003, accompanied by significant strengthening of the Company's already
healthy cash position.'
