Yotta Product Update
Yotta Releases its Updated Pavement Management System, MARCHpms v4.3
OMG plc, (LSE: OMG) ("OMG" or the "Group"), the technology group providing image understanding products for the entertainment, defence, life science and engineering industries, is pleased to announce that its Yotta division, the leading highways surveyor, has today unveiled the latest version of its MARCHpms software, which allows users to visualise the survey data they collect for the first time.
Yotta assists various UK local authorities and in the collection of valuable data regarding the quality and status of the roads under their management. The data Yotta's technology and service teams collect enables local authorities to better plan and carry out the improvements needed to those roads, based upon comprehensive video surveys of the entire road and highway networks. Yotta's services assist local authorities in being more cost effective in their long term maintenance plans, thereby reducing the authority's overall operational costs whilst at the same time enhancing the quality, speed and accuracy with which repairs can be executed.
MARCHpms v4.3, unveiled today, enables local authorities for the first time to see the quality and status data they collect both in map and in video form. By visualising this data, local authorities will be better able to prioritise their maintenance decision making and repairs planning.
Building on the strong performance and GIS capabilities of v4.2, the software released today, delivers a host of new features including: a simpler, faster way of loading surveys and reports, bulk survey data loading, new network editing features and works with a smaller, simpler database.
Commenting on the launch of Yotta's MARCHpms v4.3, Nick Bolton, OMG Chief Executive Officer said: "Yotta's surveying technology remains the market leader in performance for loading, processing and reporting pavement condition surveys. Technology and innovation is at the heart of what we do and our continued improvements to visualise our MARCHpms software makes sure that we continue to offer our customers the best productivity features of any PMS system."
