Yotta wins Bury Council contract
Yotta's Alloy has won a two-year contract with Bury Council
Oxford Metrics plc (LSE: OMG) the international software company servicing government, life sciences, entertainment and engineering markets is pleased to announce that Yotta, a provider of cloud-based infrastructure asset management software and services, has won a two-year contract with Bury Metropolitan Borough Council for its connected asset management solution, Alloy.
Bury Metropolitan Borough Council plans to use Alloy to help manage the reactive maintenance of its highway networks and street lighting assets, enabling them to inspect and fix potholes and street lights more efficiently.
The implementation of the system is well under way and Yotta is looking to have everything operationally running for the council by the end of H1 2019. Over time, the council also plans to integrate Alloy with a new CRM system it is implementing and provide its inspectors and field workers out on site with the latest information direct to their phones through Alloy Mobile.
Peter Stokes, Head of Streetscene Maintenance, added: "We expect the new system will create cost and time efficiencies from the start but also futureproof us during a period when authorities are needing to digitise their processes and evaluate current systems whilst keeping ever shrinking budgets in mind."
Nick Bolton, CEO of Oxford Metrics, said: "We are delighted to announce this two-year contact to support Bury Council through Alloy. Alloy's enhanced mapping and visualisation of assets will enable the council to efficiently maintain its highways and street lighting infrastructure. It's an exciting win for Alloy and will see the platform help the council manage an area of 24,511 acres."
