Online Travel Corporation plc ('OTC' or the 'Company')


Holding in Company

The Company today received notification that as of close of business on 12 March
2004, UBS Investment Bank, ('UBS-IB'),  a business group of UBS AG, had an
interest in 6,672,995 Ordinary shares of OTC, representing 3.76 per cent. of the
issued share capital of the Company.

These interests are held by UBS-IB as beneficial owner in the ordinary course of
its trading activities and include  4,052,995 Ordinary Shares (2.29 per cent.)
held for hedging purposes in relation to contracts for difference entered into
with clients.
