Online Travel Corporation PLC 3 November 2000 Online Travel Corporation plc New strategic partnership with Worldspan Services Limited Online Travel Corporation plc ('OTC') has secured a partnership with Worldspan Services Limited ('Worldspan'). Worldspan is the market leader in e-commerce for the worldwide travel industry, providing 50 percent of all online travel bookings. OTC is the first to implement the latest version of Worldspan's proprietary EDI messaging system, called SMI, on the flight-booking engine. OTC, with Worldspan, has taken SMI technology to a new level, using XML, which enables full integration with OTC's other booking modules. This facilitates multi-channel distribution on the Internet, WAP, Broadband and Interactive Television.
