Oxford Technology 2 VCT PLC

Coraltech Ltd.
£74,960
Oxford Technology 2 VCT has invested £74,960 in Coraltech Ltd, with half being
invested in return for 937 ordinary shares (representing about 6% of the equity)
and half in the form of a loan. The investment is part of a larger round with
other investors including Oxford Technology VCT.
Coraltech Ltd has developed a novel, patent protected process for producing
moulded plastic components in which part of the component is solid and part is
foamed. This allows the production of a plastic component with both thick and
thin parts using less plastic than conventional methods resulting in a cheap,
lightweight yet strong product. The company is now beginning to secure licenses
for the use of its technology and the purpose of this investment is to allow the
company to continue to develop the technology and to investigate new markets.
