Intellikraft Ltd
£250,000
Oxford Technology 2 VCT has invested £250,000 in Intellikraft Ltd. £50,000 was
invested in return for 150,000 ordinary shares representing 15% of the equity,
and a further £200,000 for preference shares.
Intellikraft Ltd has been formed to develop and exploit advances in
piezoelectric technology, much of which stems from Russian research during the
1990's. The technology was obtained by CFB, an Isle of Man based technology
incubator, and Intellikraft Ltd was formed out of this company. At the heart of
the technology, which is protected by a series of patents, is a process for
producing a piezoelectric crystal that can deliver ten times more current than
conventional piezoelectric materials. Intellikraft Ltd is now developing
numerous applications for the crystals, a number of which are at advanced stages
of commercialisation.
