Retiral of Director

The Board of Pacific Horizon Investment Trust PLC announces that Mr Peter Mackay intends to retire from the Board at the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held on 25 October 2010.

It is intended that at this point Miss Jean Matterson will become Chairman of the Company and stand down as Chair of the Audit Committee, to be replaced in this role by Mr Edward Creasy.
