Michael Page International plc ("the Company") announces that on 18 April 2005
the number of ordinary shares of 1p each ("Shares") in the Company held by
Mourant & Co. Trustees Limited as trustee of the Michael Page Employees' Benefit
Trust ("the Trustee"), has increased from 4,116,482 Shares to 4,155,342 Shares
by reason of the transfer of 38,860 Shares to the Trustee, the beneficial
interest in which was previously held by a participant (who is not a director of
the Company) under the Michael Page Incentive Share Plan.
The executive directors were not connected with the transaction that took place
and their individual beneficial interests in Shares remain unchanged after this
announcement.
The executive directors of the Company are deemed to have a technical interest
in all 4,155,342 Shares held beneficially and legally by the Trustees.
