Third Quarter Trading Update
Michael Page International plc ("MPI"), the professional recruitment
consultancy, announces third quarter revenue (gross profit) of £47.8m (Q2 2002:
£51.4m).
Commenting, Terry Benson, Chief Executive of Michael Page, said:
"Our third quarter revenue figure reflects a good performance against a
background of weak business confidence and challenging market conditions. We
have seen a slower than usual increase in business activity in the UK and
Continental Europe following the summer break, but with continued tight control
over costs, we remain in line to achieve our profit targets for the year,
assuming no further material deterioration in market conditions."
