Richard Crowder, a Director of the Company:


 - purchase of 9,682 ordinary 67p shares of the Company at a price of 490p on
   26 March 2002


As a result of this purchase Mr Richard Crowder, a Director of the Company, is
now interested in 45,000 ordinary 67p shares of the Company (0.21% of the issued
class of capital).
