Pantheon International Participations PLC

On 10 August 2001, Pantheon International Participations PLC (the 'Company')
issued 1,204,901 further Participating Loan Notes ('PLNs').  These PLNs were
issued pursuant to commitments given by certain institutions to the Company.
Commitments of approximately £23.8 million are still outstanding and are
available to be drawn down by the Company.

The Company has today published listing particulars in relation to, and
application has been made for, the admission of the 1,204,901 PLNs of the
Company to listing on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to
trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities.  Dealings
in the PLNs are expected to commence on 23 August 2001.
