Asian Plantations Limited (LSE: PALM), a palm oil plantation company with operations in Malaysia, today received notification that the Asian Agriculture Fund ("AAF") acquired 310,000 ordinary shares of no par value in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), thereby increasing its stake in the Company to 960,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 3.25 per cent. of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.
AAF is an agricultural investment fund registered in Singapore and managed by Asian Agri Capital Limited. Additional information on AAF and Asian Agri Capital Limited can be found at www.asianagricapital.com.
