The following replaces the Director Shareholding announcement released today
at 16.14 under RNS No 9316V.  The previously advised award of 59,880 shares
to J P L Perry was incorrectly stated and should read 29,940 shares.

The corrected announcement appears below.

On 27 February 2004 the trustee of The Paragon Group of Companies PLC
employee share ownership trust ('the Trustee') granted the following awards
of Ordinary Shares of 10p to certain directors of the Company, for nil
consideration or payment, under the Company's Deferred Annual Bonus Scheme.

Under the terms of the scheme the Trustee will procure that the shares are
transferred to the scheme participants as soon as reasonably practicable
after the transfer date reported above, subject to a participant continuing
to hold an office or employment with The Paragon Group of Companies PLC and
to the provisions of the Model Code.
