The Directors of The Paragon Group of Companies PLC are pleased to announce that
Gavin A F Lickley will be appointed to the Board of the Company as a non-
executive director with effect from 21 October.

Mr Lickley retired from the Board of the Investment Banking Division of Deutsche
Bank AG in April 2000, having previously been Head of the Banking Division and
Chairman of Morgan Grenfell & Co Limited. He is currently non-executive Chairman
of Inexus Group and SAV Credit Limited.
