THE PARKMEAD GROUP PLC ('Parkmead')
Acquisition of 1.0 % stake in PA Resources AB ('PAR').
The Parkmead Group plc (PMG) reports that it has acquired 0.16% of the listed
share capital of PAR (230,000 shares) for a consideration of £0.99 million. PAR
is a fast growing oil and gas group which is acquiring and developing oil and
gas reserves in Tunisia, the Norwegian continental shelf, Equatorial Guinea and
the Republic of Congo.
Commenting on the investment, Niall Doran, Chief Executive of Parkmead, said:
'We are continuing to build our strategic portfolio of energy based investments.
We are also actively appraising opportunities across the energy sector and
hope to make further announcements in due course.'
