Appointment of Director
Interregnum plc ('Interregnum') is pleased to announce the appointment to the
Board of Mr Martin Peck, aged 40, as Executive Director, Corporate Finance with
effect from 7 July 2003.
Martin Peck brings a wealth of corporate finance and operational management
experience built during his time as an adviser on business development,
corporate finance, PFI, and privatisation transactions for Serco Group Plc,
Capita Group Plc, and BDO Stoy Hayward. More recently, Martin has been Executive
Director, Merchant Banking/Venture Capital (Europe) for CIBC Wood Gundy
Oppenheimer, and head of the private equity technology fund at AMP Private
Capital. Martin has spent the last three years in business turnaround activity,
working for investors to help deliver shareholder value at a number of public
and private companies. This period included a spell as interim CEO at
Transacsys, the listed Smart Card Applications company, which he successfully
re-structured and sold.
Martin has had a close working relationship with Interregnum since August 1998
when, responsible for CIBC's investment in the Company, he was first appointed
to the board. He became Finance Director in May 1999 through to December 1999,
when he moved to AMP Private Equity. Since that time Martin has worked and
invested alongside Interregnum on a number of transactions.
Martin's main areas of focus at Interregnum will be the execution of larger
turnaround, principle finance, merchant banking and corporate finance
transactions.
Martin Peck holds a degree in Accountancy & Financial Analysis from the
University of Warwick, and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in England & Wales. Martin Peck's other directorships are attached.
There are no other matters which are required to be announced as required under
paragraph (f) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
