           Parity Group plc: Acquisition of Prime Selection Limited

 Strengthening Parity Software Services in the City finance and media sectors

Parity Group plc ('Parity'), the listed new technology solutions and software
services group, announces that it has today acquired Prime Selection Limited
('Prime'), an IT resourcing company operating primarily in the finance, media
and legal sectors and in the new technology markets. The total consideration
is £5.9 million, to be paid with a combination of loan notes and cash. In
addition, Parity will assume a level of debt which, during 2000, averaged £
0.45 million. In the year to 31 December 2000, Prime achieved revenues of
approximately £13 million.

Prime, which is based in London and privately owned, was founded in 1984 and
has 49 permanent employees. It currently has approximately 130 consultants
placed on billing, mainly in the areas of new technology, client/server and
IBM mid-range. The company's services include project management, business
analysis, application development, systems development and support, web
services and data warehouse design. Prime also has a fast-growing permanent
recruitment business in these technology areas.

Commenting on the acquisition, Rick Bacon, Managing Director of Parity
