Parity launches 'AIR MILES' loyalty programme for IT contractors
Industry-exclusive deal rewards contractors, consultants and permanent
placements
Parity Group plc announces an important new initiative in the IT resourcing
and recruitment market with the launch today of the Parity AIR MILES
programme. The scheme, exclusive to Parity within the IT services sector,
gives UK-based IT contractors, consultants and permanent recruitment
candidates the opportunity to earn AIR MILES through placements with Parity
Resources, Parity EuroSoft and Parity Selection respectively, the European
components of Parity's Software Services division. AIR MILES, the UK's
leading loyalty programme, provides thousands of travel and leisure offers in
return for miles.
In addition to earning AIR MILES by being placed, contractors and consultants
will be rewarded with additional AIR MILES the longer the duration of their
contract with Parity. The scheme will also offer additional AIR MILES for
premium skills that are in short supply, crucial at a time of severe e-
business skills shortages. For clients, Parity will be able to tailor the AIR
MILES incentives to suit their IT resourcing needs in terms of both skill
requirements and length of project.
Commenting on the initiative, Rick Bacon, Managing Director of Parity Software
Services, said:
'We are delighted to have entered into this exclusive arrangement with AIR
MILES, which we believe is an important addition to our existing contractor
care programmes. We expect it to be very effective in both developing
contractor loyalty and attracting key skills to Parity. Significantly, since
we are only rewarding people for actually working on projects and remaining
with Parity, the scheme will be very cost-effective.'
Under the programme, contractors, consultants and candidates receive a
placement bonus of between 100 to 650 AIR MILES for each new
contract/assignment or placement. Quarterly loyalty bonuses of between 80 to
160 AIR MILES, depending upon the length of the contract/assignment, will
offer contractors and consultants the opportunity to gain up to an additional
640 AIR MILES each year.
Parity is supporting the launch of the Parity AIR MILES programme with the a
dedicated web site (www.milesbetter.net) that provides comprehensive details
of the scheme and gives contractors and candidates the ability to register
with the AIR MILES programme.
