Parity Group PLC 13 June 2000 Parity Group plc PARITY ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT OF PARTNERSHIP WITH BROADVISION INC. Strategic move to strengthen Parity's capability in Customer Relationship Management Parity Solutions, the e-business solutions division of Parity Group plc, today announces the start of a formal partnership with Broadvision, the world's leading provider of enterprise-wide e-business applications, to jointly market and install the complete range of Broadvision software platforms. Broadvision technology enables companies to deploy e-commerce portals and websites very quickly. The software platform enables users to track and monitor all their commercial transactions over the web and build up accurate profiles of customers and their purchasing patterns, as a powerful and sophisticated Customer Relationship Management ('CRM') tool. It also offers wide scope for customisation to a company's particular needs and can automatically interface with any telecommunications channel, including intranet and WAP, as well as all major databases and ERP systems. Under the partnership, Parity will use Broadvision's application and technology platforms to develop e-commerce websites and portals for its blue chip client base and for other clients of Broadvision. There is growing demand for such platforms and services across all sectors, including the utilities sector, in which Parity is particularly strong. Commenting on the partnership, Keith Jennings, Managing Director of Parity Solutions, said, 'This is a further important development in the establishment of strategic partnerships with leading players in the e-business arena. As part of our end-to-end e-business services offerings, we have already developed a number of very successful e-commerce web applications for companies such as MFI and Merck. The Broadvision partnership will enable us to extend our service offering to provide additional powerful CRM functionality and, most importantly, to provide e-business solutions for major blue chip clients at the enterprise-wide level.' Since starting operations in 1995, Broadvision has completed more than 30 major installations of its enterprise-wide applications, with companies such as Air Miles, BT, Eurostar and Somerfield. Parity is already in discussions with a number of its clients concerning the implementation of Broadvision technology.
