The Company announces the payment of the fourth interim dividend in respect of the year ended 30 September 2024 of 4.2 pence per ordinary share (2023: 4.0 pence per ordinary share).
The dividend will be paid on 24 January 2025 to all shareholders on the register on 13 December 2024. The ex- dividend date is 12 December 2024.
The payment of the fourth interim dividend brings the total dividend for the financial year to 16.8 pence per ordinary share (2023: 16.0 pence per ordinary share). This is an overall increase of 5% on the Company's total dividend payment for the previous financial year and, based on the share price on 25 November 2024, represents a 3.1% dividend yield.
Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP")
The Company has in place a DRIP, provided by Equiniti Financial Services Limited, which allows shareholders to use their dividends to purchase further ordinary shares in the Company. The last election date to participate in the DRIP is 3 January 2025.

Shareholders who have not previously applied to participate in the DRIP and who wish to do so in respect of the dividend payable on 24 January 2025, should ensure that a mandate form, or CREST instruction if appropriate, is submitted to the Company's registrars, Equiniti Limited, prior to the dividend election date of 3 January 2025.
