COUNTYWeb.com PLC (the 'Company')


The Company was yesterday notified that on 16 January 2001, Keith Charles
Richmond, the Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, transferred in aggregate
310,000 ordinary 1p shares from himself, his wife and from the K.C. Richmond
Family Trust into his beneficial pension scheme, the KDM International PLC
Director's Pension Scheme. This does not change Keith Richmond's beneficial
interest which remains at 3,334,985 ordinary 1p shares representing 12.4 per
cent. of the issued share capital of that class.
