Pearson plc, the international media company, today announces that Gill Lewis
has decided to retire as a non-executive director, effective from the annual
general meeting on 27 April 2001.
Gill Lewis is a partner of Heidrick & Struggles, leading their higher
education/ not-for-profit practice in the UK. She has been a non-executive
director of Pearson since 1992.
