PEARSON OUTLINES ONLINE LEARNING PLANS
At an investor seminar in New York today, Pearson plc, the international media
company, will outline the latest developments in its online learning
operations.
The seminar follows a series of acquisitions and strategic alliances which
have made Pearson the world's largest education company, with leading
positions in the US school, US higher education & professional and
international markets. Pearson will demonstrate new products and services
which personalize learning by combining content, assessment and data
management.
Investors can view the seminar via webcast at www.pearson.com. The seminar
begins at 0900, EST (1400 in London). The seminar will be repeated in London
on Friday 26 January at 0900.
