Credit Lyonnais Securities have informed Peel Holdings p.l.c ('the Company')
that they will be closing their UK corporate finance and corporate broking
activities on 30 June 2004 and accordingly will step down as the Company's
broker on that date.

The Company will endeavour to appoint a new broker as soon as reasonably
practicable. A market in the Company's shares is being made by Winterflood
Securities and KBC Peel Hunt and is expected to continue.
