Peel Holdings p.l.c. - Annual General Meeting and Final Ordinary Dividend
The Company has today despatched its Annual Report and Accounts for the year
ended 31st March 2001 and written to shareholders concerning the Annual General
Meeting and proposed final dividend.
The letter informs shareholders that the Board:-
* proposes to delay the Annual General Meeting from 26th September 2001 (the
previously announced date) until a date to be announced, and
* has declared a second interim dividend of 10.2p per ordinary share to be paid
on 1st October 2001 (the same level of dividend and payment date as for the
previously proposed final dividend), and
* will recommend no final ordinary dividend payment in respect of the year ended
31st March 2001 at the subsequent Annual General Meeting.
The second interim dividend will be paid to ordinary shareholders on the
register at the close of business on 7th September 2001.
As announced on 3rd August 2001, the Board expects to despatch a circular to
shareholders concerning the reorganisation proposals towards the end of
September.
