PENNON GROUP PLC (THE 'COMPANY')
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ADDITIONAL LISTING
Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the admission of
1,989,956 ordinary shares of 111 pence each in the Company to the Official list
and to the London Stock Exchange for these securities to be admitted to trading.
It is anticipated that these shares will be admitted to trading on 21 October
2005.
The application is being made in respect of shares that may fall to be issued
pursuant to the:
Scrip dividend alternative in lieu of cash: 1,927,513 ordinary shares for the
final dividend paid on 5 October 2005 in respect of the year ended 31 March
2005; and
Restricted Share Plan 2005 Award: up to 62,443 ordinary shares of 111 pence
each.
