DIRECTORS/PDMR SHAREHOLDING (PURSUANT TO DR3.1.4R(1))

Pennon Group Plc announces that it received notification on 4 October 2007
pursuant to DR3.1.2R that Ordinary shares of nominal value 40.7p each in the
Company were purchased for £6.087149 per share for persons discharging
managerial responsibilities (PDMRs) in the Company on 2 October 2007 in London,
England as follows:
