HOLDING IN COMPANY
Pennon Group Plc has today received notification (by letter dated 15 February
2001) pursuant to Section 198 (as amended), of the Companies Act 1985 that
Prudential Plc now holds 13,843,006 Ordinary shares of £1 each in Pennon Group
Plc, representing 10.15% of the issued share capital of the Company.
*A Private Investor is a recipient of the information who meets all of the conditions set out below, the recipient:
