BOARD SUCCESSION
The Board of Pennon Group Plc announces that its Group Director of Finance,
Ken Hill, has decided to retire at age 60 on 1 March 2002 after 12 years with
the Group.
The Board expresses its gratitude to Ken for his significant contribution to
the development of the Group since privatisation and wishes him well in his
retirement. He will work with the Board as a consultant for a period to
progress the issue of improving the efficiency of the Group's Balance Sheet.
David Dupont will, for an interim period, become Group Finance Director,
coupling this role with his existing Finance Director role within South West
Water. David joined the Company in 1992, initially as Group Strategic and
Planning Manager, and previously held senior positions with the Gateway
Corporation Plc.
