Pan Andean Resources, the Irish based, AIM listed Oil and Gas Producer announces
that it was informed on 7 December 2006 that, on the same day, John Teeling,
Chairman and James Finn, Finance Director purchased shares in the Company.


John Teeling purchased 1,750,000 shares at 10.75p per share to bring his holding
to 2,268,000, representing approximately 1.9% of the issued share capital. James
Finn purchased 250,000 shares at 10.75p to bring his holding to 315,000,
representing approximately 0.26% of the issued share capital.
