Statement by Permanent TSB Group Holdings plc (the "Bank").

Further to the Bank's RNS of the 17 January 2023, Julie O'Neill has today taken up the position of Chairperson of Permanent TSB Group Holdings plc (Permanent TSB). Ms. O'Neill succeeds Mr. Robert Elliott who had previously announced his intention to retire from the Board at the end of March.
Commenting today, Julie O'Neill said: 'We are entering an exciting phase for Permanent TSB and following the transformational acquisition of certain elements of Ulster Bank's Retail, SME and Asset Finance businesses, we are perfectly positioned to provide a welcome alternative for personal and business banking customers. I look forward to working with the Board, Eamonn and the wider team to continue to drive the bank forward to future success and achieve our ambition of becoming Ireland's best personal and small business bank. I also want to pay tribute to Robert Elliott for his deep commitment to Permanent TSB and his significant role in the progress that the bank has achieved during his term of office.'
