Persimmon Plc - Additional Listing

The following replaces the announcement on Friday 17 October at 11.29 am under
RNS Number 0186R. The announcement should have referred to an application for
333,000 new ordinary shares and not 330,000 as previously stated. The full
corrected version appears below.

Application has been made for a block listing of 333,000 new ordinary shares of
10 pence each of Persimmon plc to be admitted to the Official List of the UK
Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. These shares will
rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares and will be issued pursuant to
the exercise of options under the 1988 Executive Option Scheme.

Copies of this brochure are available for inspection from the Document Viewing
Facility of the UK Listing Authority during the next two business days and from
Hoare Govett Limited up to and including 14 days from date thereof.
