Director/PDMR Shareholding



On 28 June 2007, Persimmon plc (the 'Company') was informed that on that day
Persimmon (Share Scheme Trustees) Limited had purchased 50,000 ordinary shares
in the Company at an average price of 1169.5p.  The shares were purchased to
satisfy the vesting of awards under the Company's employee share plans. As a
result of this purchase, Persimmon (Share Scheme Trustees) Limited holds 533,708
shares in the Company representing 0.2% of the issued ordinary shares.



The issued share capital of the Company on 28 June 2007 was 302,500,125 ordinary
shares.
