Directors' Shareholding and Holding in Company
Persimmon plc ('the Company') announces that today John White, Chairman,
purchased 600,000 ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 194.33p
per share from Duncan Davidson, Life President and former Chairman. The price
payable was determined pursuant to an agreement between the two individuals.
Accordingly Mr and Mrs White's holding increased to 1,949,221 shares,
representing 0.65% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Today the Company also received separate s. 198 notification from Duncan
Davidson that he has sold the 600,000 shares referred to above and that he and
his family now have a notifiable interest of 14,577,539 Ordinary Shares
representing 4.88% of the issued share capital of the Company.
