Persimmon plc ('the Company') announces that on 7 December 2006 it was advised
that on the same day, Mike Killoran, Group Finance Director sold 20,000 ordinary
shares in the Company and his partner, Ms Jacqueline Flanigan sold 830 ordinary
shares, all at an average price of £15.16 per share.

Mr Killoran and Ms Flanigan's resultant shareholding is 434,454 ordinary shares,
representing 0.15% of the issued share capital of the Company.
