Persimmon plc ('the Company') was informed on 1 November that on that day  the
undernoted directors exercised share options granted to them under one of  the
Company's SAYE schemes.  Details are set out below:

As  a  result  Mr D H Davidson (and his family) are interested  in  18,033,164
ordinary  shares of the Company (9.87% of the issued share capital);  Mr  M  J
Allen  (and his wife) are interested in 415,786 ordinary shares of the Company
(0.23%  of  the  issued  share capital) and Mr G Grewer  (and  his  wife)  are
interested  in  304,603 ordinary shares of the Company (0.17%  of  the  issued
share capital).
