Persimmon plc was today advised that David George Bryant, an executive
director, on 15 March 2001 transferred, for nil consideration, 2,055 shares to
his wife, Mrs Daryl Bryant. Following this transaction the resultant total
holding of David George Bryant is 210,448 shares, representing 0.08% of the
issued share capital.  The aggregate total of shares in which David Bryant has
a beneficial interest remains unchanged at 236,396 shares, representing 0.09%
of the issued share capital.
