On 25 November 2002, Persimmon plc (the 'Company') was informed that on 22
November 2002 Persimmon (Share Scheme Trustees) Limited had purchased 50,000
ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 400p and on 25 November
2002 had purchased 231,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 396.33p.


In accordance with the Resolution passed at the Company's AGM on 25 April 2002,
165,000 shares have been conditionally awarded to Mr J White, Chief Executive
and 116,000 shares to Mr M P Farley, Divisional Chief Executive. These shares
will vest on 3 March 2003.
