Director's Shareholding


Further to the purchase of 60,000 Ordinary Shares by Mr J White, Chief Executive
and of 20,000 shares by Mr D H Davidson, Non Executive Chairman on 5 November
2002, Persimmon plc (the 'Company') announces that it was informed yesterday
that on 25 November 2002, Mr M H Killoran, Group Finance Director, had purchased
20,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 396.33p per share. The resultant
notifiable holding for Mr M H Killoran is 80,888 shares or 0.03% of the issued
share capital of the Company.
