Director's Shareholding


On 24 November 2003, Persimmon plc (the 'Company') was informed that Mr John
Millar, Divisional Chief Executive, purchased on that day 20,000 ordinary shares
in the Company at 447p per share through his FURB trust. Mr and Mrs Millar's
resultant holding is 513,759 shares, representing 0.18% of the issued share
capital of the Company.
