Persimmon Plc ('the Company')- Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we
announce that as at 7 March 2007 the Company's issued share capital consisted of
299,261,106 ordinary shares with voting rights. The Company does not hold any
shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company
is 299,261,106.
