Persimmon Plc ('the Company' )- Transfer of Shares held in Treasury



Persimmon Plc announces that on 30 April 2008 it transferred 1,139 Ordinary
Shares held in Treasury to a participant in the Persimmon Plc Long Term
Incentive Plan to satisfy the exercise of an option at a price of £7.465.



Following this transfer the Company holds 2,692,979 Ordinary Shares of 10p each
in Treasury and the Company's issued share capital is 299,898,452 Ordinary
Shares (excluding Treasury Shares).
